Pass around a memory book

Misc.

What do you think about asking the guests to bring photos or other little mementos that could be placed in a memory album. (Kinko's makes color copies on regular paper; Kodak has no negatives needed self-serve copiers that copy pictures onto regular photo paper -- I use one at a WalMart in my area.) Or if the bride knows about the shower, you can ask the bride for pictures she may have with some of the guests from events throughout her life or even the bride by herself at some monumental evern. Make copies. Mount the pictures here and there in the memory album and pass the book around for the guests to write something they remember about the event. Have blank pages throughout so that guests who do not have a picture, can just relate a story or sentiment. For example, a photo of the bride at her college graduation...guests that went to college with her can write about something they remember about attending college with the bride. A photo of the bride as a child: an aunt might write about something she remembers the bride doing as a child. A guest who doesn't have a specific memory can just write some advice or best wishes.
