You just sparked some childhood memories over the digital highway! When I was a kid my folks (for very special occasions) would get canapes/hors d'ouerves from a local catering company called Monica's.

They made little teapots and penguins out of olives. They made swans out of shrimp. Little tuna puffs with cream cheese flowers on top. They were amazing and as a litlle girl I knew the event was special and Oh-So-Sophisticated!LOL!Thanks so much for the good memories.

By the way does anyone have instructions to make some of these formal (and possibly) dated canapes?
