This is the real Bang Bang Shrimp recipe-
You can use any sized peeled, deveined, tail free shrimp, but smaller varieties work best- First wash shrimp in buttermilk, shake then add to seasoned flour- deep fry till done- usually about 2 minutes in most fryers-
The sauce- now i dont know the exact amounts but you can figure it out with trial and error:
Heavy duty mayonnaise
thai-garlic chili sauce
thai-sweet chili sauce
white pepper
white vinegar.
Toss with the shrimp and enjoy- trust me when i say this is the exact way to prepare them- i used to know a fry cook who worked there and this person shared the exact recipe with me-
