Pricing and Packaging
Misc.Bath salts look pretty in glass jars - decorative or mason. Add pretty ribbon and maybe some silk or ribbon flowers. Tie on a pretty handmade paper tag with instructions for use. Make different colored salts and layer in the jar if you want. Or...package in zip lock baggies. Make a simple fabric bag and put the baggie full of salts inside. Gather at the top and tie with a ribbon. Hang a tag from your ribbon with name and instructions for use. Or...cut a large square of cellophane, put salts in the middle and gather up at the top. Tie with ribbon.
Milk bath looks really cute in small milk bottles if you can find them. The bottles that Starbuck's Frappuccino comes in are perfect. Just spray paint the lids a pretty color and tie some ribbon or twine around the neck. Or use any of the bath salt ideas.
For oils use pretty corked bottles. You can find these almost everywhere. Be especially sure to clean these well first and make sure the inside of the bottle is clean and free of water before pouring in your oil. Seal with melted wax - melt parrafin wax in a small pan (add part of a crayon for color) and dip the top of your bottle in giving 2-3 coats. Tie with ribbon. Salt glows look nice in mason jars.
A generic way to price is to figure out the cost of all of your supplies including the container. Take this figure and multiply by 3.
