Re clay pots and baking

I remember (several months ago) seeing an article on the net (don't know if it was TKL or elsewhere) about how to prepare pots before baking in them. Sorry to say I don't remember where - but will try to figure that out - and if I do, get back to you. It seemed there were several things you SHOULD do before using these pots for baking.

I know I have been given mixes in some pots (from gourmet shops, etc.) but (according to packages) these have been treated already.

Hope someone knows where this site is!
