re: Peachy Pear Preserves

On the note about the gelatin being an animal product, I do not know. This recipe I was told, came from Southern Living Magaine whom I believe tests their recipes. I have kept these preserves for 2 years with no problem. Be sure to use the Boiling Water Bath to process, and be sure all equipment, jars etc are sterile.
