I make lots of hummus and we eat it in pita bread with lots of chopped fresh veges--usually lettuce and chopped tomatoes, cukes, scallion and black olives with a dash of lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper. If you need a recipe fo hummus, let me know and I will post mine. Also, invest in a crockpot and use some of the great recipes you will find here at TKL. I usually put things together the night before to allow the meat to marinate and then pop it into the crockpot base unit in the morning and then go enjoy the day. Dinner will be waiting when you get home!
