re: Using up milk

Misc.
I remember as a kid my mother used to save sour milk and make what she called Brown Cake. Was made with sour milk and brown sugar. flour etc... and had a struzel topping. We as kids loved it and i wish i had the recipe passed on from grandmother. But im sure any coffee cake that calls for sour cream could be subsatute with the sour milk.
