request: your hash brown recipe

Misc.

Hi.....I'm trying in vain to locate a recipe for hash browns, I've tried several versions, and yet can't sem ot get them the way I want.

I peel , par boil, chill nad then grate potatoes. To avoid the starchy taste I rinse and drain several times......then fry.......they come out marginally okay.but the DO NOT taste like they do int he restaurants. I realize that they just open a bag of frozen grated potatoes, whcih have preservatives etc. in them but I'm still hoping I can duplicate them any suggestions?

Thanks, Bob
