That's Nutmeg, not nutmet. Oops

Misc.
I oopsed in the spelling of nutmeg. I wanted to add that as I was looking through this book, I have found some other meat recipes attributed to Swedes that contain allspice and/or nutmeg. SO, allow me to correct myself and you should assume that your mother's recipe is indeed one of the traditional swedish meatball recipes.
