Tips: Hot weather cooking

Misc.
this is a great time of the year for the crockpot, because it doesn't heat up the whole house -- also microwave cooking is good right now.
i do lotsa salads (we had crab salad tonight) -- especially pasta salads, rice, couscous, quinoa, tuna, chicken, ham, egg, etc.... they are nice with nice bakery-style croissant or baked lays, fresh fruit (in season) and a big jug of iced tea or lemonade.

if you'd like, i could post some crockpot recipes on the board.
happy (and cool) cooking!
