Thanks for your newsy note. And congratulations on your new endeavor! I always wanted to go to cooking school (we have the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco) but I am too old now. I don't have the stamina to stand all day. When my parents were sick, before they died, I did a lot of cooking for them. I would make all kinds of things and freeze them. I'd drive down to the Bay Area once a week and deliver all this frozen food. I spent so much time on my feet cooking that I developed plantar fascitis in my left foot. That was excruciating. I had to walk with a cane. Finally my doctor gave me several acupuncture treatments and it went away. But I had to baby the foot for about 6 months!

Anyway, your fur babies sound darling. I had a fur person for many years but she went to the great tuna can in the sky several years back. I'd like another cat but we have all new furniture and my husband doesn't want it to get shredded! We also like to do a lot of traveling and finding someone to come in is difficult. Pets hate being boarded. So we've decided to forego the pet thing for a while.
