Oh, the Roast!! Forgot to answer that!
Misc. The Roast Beef was sooooooooo yummy. I believe it was an eye of round that I bought??? I decided to put a rub on it as the instruction book does not mention any kind of sauce or glaze at all in the whole thing so I figured it is not good to use in the Rotisserie.
I looked through a couple of recipes I had and one mentioned a garlic blend. Well, didn't I buy a garlic blend recently and I hadn't used it yet. Boom, rubbed that all over the roast. Let it sit in the fridge for about an hour and threw it on the Rotisserie.
It cooked much faster than I thought it would so it ended up well done - no not dry or anything. Just perfectly well done. I would have preferred medium well but I eat well done too so I was OK with that.
The first day it was good but the next day - yummy - that is the wonderful roast beef taste I have been missing. It was just fabulous. Another definite make.
I just love my new toy and I am so glad I bought it. I truly did agonize over spending the money but I am so glad I bought it.
