I'm fine and so are my "furry children." Well, so far anyway. Kira my oldest, she's 15 now! YIKES. Getting up there but I am trying to deny it.

I didn't feed my "kids" any of the recalled Pet food. Well, I do feed some Science Diet canned but not the "flavour and cut" that was recalled. I'm still very scared though. Unfortunately, kidney disease doesn't show up in tests until the kidneys are severely damaged. AND kidney disease is often a killer of old(er) cats. Seems like "everyone" is out for Kira's kidneys! Sure wish I had x-ray vision. Don't really have any spare cash to be running tests which might not detect damage that is there.

Sorry, didn't want to get on a rant about my "furry beasts." They are my version of children and Kira is truly the apple of her mama's eye. She's a real character just like I am!

Anyway. I can't remember back to April 16th! I don't think???? we had any weather that was too exciting. Buffalo, and other US Cities closer to the border usually get it worse than we do!

That big snow storm in October that was really, really bad in Fort Erie which is very, very close to Niagara Falls was wayyyyy worse in Fort Erie. We had some downed tree branches and some power outages but they were significantly affected. They lost power for days and days. A week and maybe two weeks. The US was bad like Fort Erie as well. Here in Niagara (I could "spit" to Fort Erie) I lost power for 2 hours I think?

Sorry, it is late and I've been walking outside most of the day so my brain is a little more than fried. Hmmmm. Fried brain must be a delicacy somewhere!
