Good to hear from you, Brig. I hope you'll try brining some time. It's really amazing what it does to chicken!

How did your roast come out? I bought a standing rib because it was on sale and cooked it Saturday night. I used Paula Deen's method, which she calls her "Foolproof Standing Rib" and it truly is!

I saw on the news that the northeast of the U.S. is getting hammered with rain and snow right now. I think you said you're located in Niagara Falls, Canada. Are you getting stormed too? I hope you're ok.
