My newest acquisition.
Misc.Well I saw on Wednesday when I was shopping that the Baby George Foreman Rotisserie was on sale from $99 to $45.00. Now that is a steal.
I am unemployed right now and don't really have the money to spend on something like this. I do have a little bit of money leftover from Christmas/birthday and it would cover it.(Yeah, I was born on the 24th. Yeah, it sucks.) The sale ended on Thursday so I had to decide overnight whether I was going to buy this or not. I agonized back and forth. Should I? Shouldn't I? Should I? Shouldn't I? I decided with my oven not working that I could make up some great things in the rotisserie. Plus in the summer I could make roasts and it wouldn't add very much to heat in my apt. I could do ham, beef, chicken, lamb. Lots of stuff so it was versatile.(It gets to be close to 90 F in my apt. in the summer. Very warm in the winter too, even with the heat off!)
So I figured OK, I would get it. I bought a little chicken for Easter Dinner on Sunday and I had it all planned out. Now don't read this wrong - I am not ungrateful - of anyone, you cooking enthusiasts will understand that I was looking forward to playing with my new toy. I was invited to Easter Dinner with a friend of mine and her family. So my play date has been postponed to Monday.
So Monday I will make a chicken in my new rotisserie and then I will tell you all about it.
Have a Happy and safe Easter everyone. I hope the poor kids in your neighbourhood don't have to go Easter Egg hunting in the snow. (No, just a tiny trace of snow here as of 8:46 p.m. Saturday night. I was out earlier and it was windy and cold though.)
So long for now.
