Wendy, I can only get Ball and Kerr lids

The only lids I can get are Ball and Kerr.Both companies are owned by Alltrista now. I canned some peaches last summer and had them all sealed,put them in my cupboard, and about half of them came unsealed.So, needless to say, I had to throw them away.That was with Kerr lids.I have talked to two other people that happened to this past year. It would be interesting to compare the recipes between our books.Maybe they are the same, except yours would be metric,I suppose. Does that cause a problem for you figuring out recipes? I don't have a clue as how to use a metric one.
