Thanks for the clarification on the jam Linda. I'll give it a try. Interesting isn't it - the things one can't buy in a country with everything. I'd have thought Bernardin Lids were readily available along with the jars. What lids do you use? I've included my email address in case that all works out. If the Ball Blue Book is small it may be similar to the Bernardin book - it just sounded like more of a reference book. Maybe I should pay more attention to the Bernardin book! Thx for the web site.
