What is a substitute for using heavy cream or whipping cream in baking.

Misc.
We would like to know what you can substitute for heavy cream or whipping cream in cheescake and pound cake recipes. Also for substituting the heavy cream or whipping cream in recipes that do not require baking.
Thanks for all of your help.
