Yes, June, the pink ones do have a milder flavour

depending on the time of the season, we get spring (pinks), or later on (now-ish) sockeye (that's the really red one).

Maybe I'm an upstart, but truthfully, I prefer the pinks (which are also wild, as opposed to farmed). They have a milder flavour. I guess sockeye is ok for me once in a while, but for regular consumption, I'll take a pink anyday!

They are awfully good for you, either way!

Of course sockeye is the more expensive of the two. Guess I am just a simple girl, easy to please!
