Recipe: Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Patricia - this is called a salad but tastes like dessert.
2 cups crushed salted pretzels
1 cup melted margarine
3 T. sugar
Mix together, press into 13 x 9 pan, bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes and cool.
Dissolve 1 6-oz strawberry jello in 2 cups boiling water, add 2 10-oz packages frozen strawberries (do not thaw), and let sit to thicken slightly.
Mix 3/4 cup MINUS 3 T. sugar with 8 oz softenend cream cheese and fold in 8 oz tub of softened Cool Whip. Place in pretzel crust.
Top with strawberry mixture and chill.
