Recipe: 4 Casseroles using Velveeta, Corn, Ground Beef, and Noodles (re: Heavenly Hash Casserole)

Main Dishes - Casseroles
BEEF, CHEESE, AND NOODLE CASSEROLE

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese or Velveeta
3/4 cup milk
4 cups cooked noodles
1 1/2 cups whole kernel corn (drained)
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup chopped pimento
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown meat. Add onion and cook until tender.

Stir in cheese and milk until blended.

Add remaining ingredients. Pour into a 2 quart baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


BUSY MOM'S CASSEROLE

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of tomato soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles (uncooked)
1 can creamed corn
1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed, divided use

Brown meat and onion.

Add water and soup to pan; stir in well.

Add noodles (uncooked). Cover and cook on stovetop until noodles are tender. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in corn and 1/2 of the cheese. Mix well. Pour into casserole and put remainder of cheese over top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.


TALLERINA

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/3 cup chopped bell pepper
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed, divided use
1 (1 lb) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of tomato soup*
1/2 cup sliced black olives, sliced (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown ground beef with onions, bell pepper, and garlic salt.

Combine with remaining ingredients (save some of the cheese for the top). Pour into casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.

*2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce may be substituted for the tomato soup.


GOULASH

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (17 oz.) can cream style corn
1 (10 oz.) can condensed cream of tomato soup
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 of a 1 lb. pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
Velveeta cheese, sliced (enough for top)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook meat and onions until done.

Combine with remaining ingredients (except cheese) in a large casserole dish. Put sliced Velveeta cheese on top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.
