Recipe(tried): Roast Beef and Beef Stew - Recipes for cooking 10+ hours in crock pot

I cook ALL the time for 10-12 hours but you cannot cook poultry that long. Stick to beef or pork!

1 roast beef, 1 envelope onion soup mix, 1.4 cup water or red wine. Turn on low and go to work!

or

2 lbs stew meat dreged in 1/2 cup flour
1 TBSP oil
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 onion chopped
1 cup beef broth or bouillon
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
6 carrots sliced
1 cup celery diced
4 potatoes peeled and diced
2 turnips or parsnips (optional)
4 cups water
1 cup geeern cvaggie (peas, okra, whatever)

Toss it all in the pot, cover with water, and go to work! Youy can thinckenb the broth with corn starch or flour at the end, or throw in frosen veggies at the end ( they tend to get brown if left in all day)
