14 soda crackers
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup chopped nuts
3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Topping
1/2 pint whipping cream
4 Tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Crush soda crackers. Add baking powder, nuts. Whip egg whites until stiff and add sugar gradually and vanilla. Fold cracker mixture into egg mixture and pour into greased pie tin. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Let cool 2 hours. Whip cream until stiff. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Spread over pie. Let stand at least 6-8 hours, in refrigerator.
