Recipe: Potato Salad - New York Deli style

Salads - Potato, Pasta
I lived on Long Island in NY for 38 years and miss the village delis. I especially miss the potato and macaroni salads. The potato salads had no eggs or relish in them as I remember. The potatoes were sliced thin and the salad was cold. Can you help me find the recipe? Thank you.
