Recipe: Dear Abby's Pecan Pie for "M"

I have a recipe from Ann Landers' sister, Abigail (Dear Abby). This is probably the one you were thinking of. I know this is too late to help for this time, but maybe next time you will want to try this one. I found it on the internet, but unfortuately I don't know where anymore:

Pecan Pie from Dear Abby
It's that time of year!! This recipe was from "Dear Abby" a few years ago. Every time I make it I get raves!!

Pecan Pie
1 C. white corn syrup
1 C. dark brown sugar
1/3 C. melted butter
1 heaping cup of whole pecans
3 eggs
dash of vanilla
pinch of salt
Mix all and pour into unbaked 9" pastry pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45-50 minutes.
(Whipped cream or ice cream on top tastes good).
