Recipe: Peach Custard Dessert (using Bisquick)

PEACH CUSTARD DESSERT

2 1/3 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup milk
3 tablespoons plus 1/4 cup sugar, divided use
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (16 oz) can sliced peaches, drained
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup dairy sour cream
1 egg
Sweetened whipped cream (optional, for serving)

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease square pan, 9-inch square.

Mix baking mix, milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and the butter. Spread in pan; arrange peach slices on top.

Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle over peach slices.

Mix sour cream and egg; drizzle over top.

Bake until wooden pick inserted in cake comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes.

Serve warm and, if desired, with sweetened whipped cream.

Makes 9 servings
