Recipe(tried): 4TH OF JULY RECIPE IDEAS ENCLOSED

Misc.

I make the stars and stripe strawberry shortcake too and it is very very good - especially if you leave it in the fridge for a little while.

last year, i made curried diip (mayo, curry and cream cheese) with fresh veggies.

i also cut out a watermelon basket, filled it brimming with watermelon, grapes, berries (blue and black) and cantelope and of course, beautiful strawberries. then i made a dip with marshmallow creme, sour cream, and amaretto (can also use kahlua). I added on the side a BIG dish of marischino cherries. this was gone in about an hour - wonderfully refreshing in the hot summer sun!
