ANGEL ISLAND CHOCOLATE CHEESE PIE
2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 bar (4 oz.) Ghirardelli Semi-sweet Chocolate
1 (8 inch) chocolate or graham cracker prepared pie shell
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
White chocolate curls (optional, for garnish)
Beat cream cheese with sugar, then add eggs. Add melted chocolate, mixing until thick and smooth. Spread into pie shell.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until firm in center. Cool.
Mix sour cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cheese pie.
Bake additional 5 minutes. Chill 4 hours or overnight.
Decorate top with chocolate curls, if desired.
Makes 8 servings
