Recipe: Bacon and Nut Stuffing (using stuffing mix and walnuts, pecans, or pine nuts)

BACON AND NUT STUFFING

1/2 pound bacon
2 cups yellow onion, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, pecans or pine nuts, chopped
2 cups seasoned stuffing mix
1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth

Brown chopped bacon in large frying pan over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove with slotted spoon.

Add onions to hot drippings and cook until soft.

Add nuts and cook for 1 minute.

Add stuffing mix. Reduce heat to low and slowly add broth until mixture is soft and moist.

Servings: 4
