Hi Betsy - nice name :-)

I don't see the exact recipe you're referring to, but here are three recipes from our archives - hopefully one is close or the same:

Banana Split Pie

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 sticks butter
8 ounces cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
3-4 bananas
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large carton Cool Whip
1 small bag of coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Combine 1 stick of melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and 2 T. of powdered sugar. Spread in 9X13 pan. Mix 2 sticks of softened butter and cream cheese. Mix for 10 minutes. Add sugar. Spread over graham cracker crumbs. Top with sliced bananas. Add pineapple, coconut, and cover with Cool Whip. Top with pecans and cherries. Refrigerate overnight.


Banana Split Pie

1 chocolate graham cracker crust
1 large box (6 serving size) instant vanilla pudding mix
2 1/2 cups cold skim milk
1 to 2 bananas
1 pint strawberries -- sliced
1 (8 oz) can crushed pineapple -- undrained
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons cornstarch
whipped topping
Maraschino cherries
chocolate syrup

Combine pineapple, vanilla and cornstarch in a small saucepan; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened and bubbly. Set aside to cool. Meanwhile, prepare crust according to pkg directions; set aside to cool.

Combine pudding mix and milk on low speed of
electric mixer for 2 min or until thickened. Pour about 1/2 of the prepared pudding into the cooled pie crust.

Top with a layer of sliced bananas. Spread cooled
pineapple mixture over bananas.

Next, layer sliced strawberries over the pineapple mixture. Spread with remaining half of the pudding. Chill. On each serving, top with whipped topping, a cherry and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

Banana Split Pie

1 graham cracker crust
2 bananas, sliced
1 (8oz.) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
5 tsp milk
1 small can pineapple, drained
1 small container cool whip, thawed
cherries for the top
your favorite nuts for the top

Place banana slices in single layer on the bottom of the pie crust.
Mix cream cheese, sugar, and milk together and set aside.
Spread pineapple on top of the bananas.
Cover with a thin layer of Cool Whip, then the cream cheese mixture.
Top with more Cool Whip.
Garnish with cherries and nuts as desired.

1 pkg. Dream Whip (two envelopes)
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
4 bananas
2 cans crushed pineapple, drained
1 large Cool Whip
Graham cracker crust
cherries & nuts (optional)

Mix first 6 ingredients together.
Put into graham cracker crust.
Add cherries and nuts for garnish, if desired.
