Recipe(tried): Baptist Muffins - Elly - re: other fruits

My neighbor and friend has this same recipe except hers is in half by ingredient measurements, and she and I were talking yesterday about this recipe - she gave me four of her muffins (frozen) that she had used a mashed banana in, also along with the raisins - They were really good plus she threw in some chopped pecans. I think you could pretty much use whatever whole grain cereal and whatever dried fruits or bananas you'd like and it would turn out fine. She makes big quantities of them and has them available in her freezer for when morning company drops in unexpectedly.
