Pie Crust
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup oil
1/4 cup buttermilk
pinch of salt
stir in a bowl untill dough adheres to the spoon. Roll out between 2 pieces of wax paper. I've never had to re-roll one, but you can. Peel top piece of wax paper, turn crust into pan, flute edges after taking wax paper off. Get the crust situated in the pan like you want it, then place wax paper down in the pie crust again and pour pinto beans to weight it down , cook for 10 minutes to set the crust. Take out the beans, wax paper and add the fruit, top crust, flute and give it an egg wash, sprinkle sugar on top. Bake slowly for about 45 min. at 300 degrees. This seems to keep it from bubbling over.
Enjoy!
