Breakfast Bacon Bread
From the promotional booklet: Rich's Better Baking Cookbook
Makes 1 loaf

1 lb. loaf Rich's White Bread Dough
8 strips of your favorite bacon
1 egg, beaten

1. Thaw Rich's Bread Dough according to the package directions.

2. Cook bacon, drain grease, then cut or tear into one inch pieces.

3. On a clean and floured surface, chop bread dough into 3/4 inch pieces. In a medium
size mixing bowl, blend with beaten egg and bacon pieces.

4. Place dough mixture into a well-greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Cover
and let rise at room temperature until approximately double in size.

5. Remove cover and bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or
until bread is browned and cooked through.

6. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Serve warm with butter, if desired.
