Recipe(tried): Butter Cookies with Hershey Kisses, no peanut butter

I use a recipe for butter cookies and they turn out great! I use this recipe for almost every cookie I make. They are very light and not too sweet. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

BUTTER COOKIES WITH HERSHEY KISSES

1 cup butter, softened
1 cup powered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour

Mix ingredients together until blended. Form cookie dough into 1-inch balls, using you thumb make a print in the center. Place on baking sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set and lightly browned. As soon as you take them out press a kiss in the center.

P.S. Mine don't always brown on top but they brown on the bottoms so check and don't overcook.
