Recipe: Cheesy Baked Eggs
Breakfast and BrunchCHEESY BAKED EGGS
2 teaspoons butter, softened
4 tablespoons half and half
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
4 eggs
1 ounce shredded American cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. With butter, lightly grease four 6 ounce custard cups or ovenproof ramekins; place on cookie sheet.
Add 1 tablespoon half and half, 1/8 teaspoon salt and dash pepper to each cup. Break 1 egg into each cup. Sprinkle with cheese and chives.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Remove from oven; let eggs stand for 2 minutes before serving.
