CHEESY-HERB BREAD
1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine, room temperature
1 3/4 ounce pkg Good Seasons Cheese Garlic Salad Dressing Mix (or Garlic and Herb)
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese, room temperature
1 loaf French bread
Combine margarine, salad dressing mix, and cheese until well blended.
Slice loaf of French bread and spread with mixture.
Place on cookie sheet and put in oven for 5 to 10 minutes or broil loaf for 3-5 minutes.
TO MAKE AHEAD:
Slice the French bread lengthwise into two halves and spread with mixture. Put the two halves back together and wrap securely with heavy duty foil. Freeze. When ready to serve, bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. No need to thaw.
