Recipe: Chickie's Grandma's Reception Salad (using Jell-O) (1970's)

Salads - Fruit, Gelatin
CHICKIE'S GRANDMA'S RECEPTION SALAD

2 pkg. (3 oz. each) lemon jello
2 cups hot water
1 jar pimento cheese spread
1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cup half and half (or milk)
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped nuts
Pinch salt
Mix and let stand until firm.

Mix dry Jello, 2 cups hot water and cheese spread together; let stand until cool. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Refrigerate until firm.
