CHOCOLATE CHIP BUNDT CAKE
1 (2 layer size) deluxe cake mix (I use yellow, but you could also use chocolate)
4 eggs
2/3 cup oil
2/3 cup water
1 (4 serving size) pkg vanilla pudding mix
1 small can Hershey's Syrup (I can't find the small cans anymore, so I use about 8 ozs)
1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a Bundt pan.
Combine first 5 ingredients. Pour 2/3 of the batter into prepared pan.
Mix chocolate syrup with remaining cake batter, pour into pan. Pour chocolate chips on top. The "plain" cake mix will surround the chocolate, making the tunnel of fudge. The chocolate chips will sink to the bottom, ending up on the top of the cake when it's served.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes. Cool 20 minutes, then remove from pan.
VARIATIONS:
You can play around with the flavor of the cake mix, pudding, and chips to achieve different cakes. We eat it unfrosted, but you could add a glaze or powdered sugar if you like!
