Chocolate Pound Cake

1 cup margarine plus
3 tbsp shortening
2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
9 tbsp cocoa
4 eggs
1 cup buttermilk (or sour milk)

Cream margarine, shortening and sugar til light and creamy.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder.
Add sifted ingredients to creamed mix.
Stir in vanilla.
Add eggs, 1 at a time and beat well after each.
Add buttermilk and mix thoroughly.
Put in greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350 and check at 30 minutes if done.
