Recipe(tried): Cold Marinated Beef Slices (using sour cream, appetizer)

COLD MARINATED BEEF SLICES

1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak
1 onion, sliced into rings
Salt and pepper, to taste
Juice of 1 lemon
1 cup sour cream
Lettuce leaves (for serving)
Lemon wedges (for garnish)

Broil sirloin 9 minutes on each side.

Slice cooked beef paper-thin with electric knife; put in a bowl. Top with onion rings; add salt, pepper and lemon juice. Stir in sour cream. Chill overnight.

TO SERVE:
Fix platter of lettuce and heap beef in middle. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve cold with toothpicks.

Makes 12 servings
