Recipe: Cinnamon and Spice Whipped Cream (for pumpkin or apple pie)

CINNAMON AND SPICE WHIPPED CREAM

"Delicious on traditional pumpkin or apple pies!"

1 cup heavy (whipping) cream
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon Durkee Ground Cinnamon
Dash Durkee Ground Nutmeg (or freshly grated whole nutmeg)
1/2 teaspoon Durkee 100% Pure Vanilla Extract

Pour heavy cream into a medium sized bowl.* Beat cream 3 to 4 minutes until it begins to form soft peaks. 

Gradually add brown sugar, being careful not to over beat. 

Fold in cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

*For best results use a chilled bowl and beater.

Makes enough for 1 pie
