ISO: Cornbread Dressing

Your situation is much like mine. I am also from OK and my mother-in-law had dementia also, made the best yellow cornbread dressing and never measured. She did not use light bread though. My late mother used biscuits from Bisquick along with white cornbread. Both were good. The yellow was sweeter. Neither wrote theirs down so I have had to guess. I would think maybe eggs would make it more cake like and maybe less broth? I can give you my recipe that I have made from my mother and mother-in-law's recipes. Just let me know.
