Cornflake Pie (mock pecan pie)
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 pastry pie crust
Mix together syrup and sugar. Stir in beaten eggs, vanilla, salt and corn flakes. Pour into pie crust.
Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife point inserted in center of pie comes out clean.
