Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
Mary, I usually use Imperial brand margarine in my cookies, unless they specifically call for butter. Happy Baking!

CREAM CHEESE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 sticks (1 cup) margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 Tablespoon lemon juice
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 package chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.

Mix cream cheese, margarine and sugar together well. Add eggs, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and lemon juice.

Mix flour and salt together. Mix into cheese/margarine mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.

Bake 8-10 minutes.
