Recipe(tried): Creamy Italian Dressing (repost) for Eunice/NV

This recipe is from Teresa/Gulfport, MS. It is good! I think that this recipe would be a good starting place for coming up with a Creamy Southwestern version, Eunice. As I mentioned, you could use chili powder, cumin, chipotle chilies, cilantro etc. and/or salsa instead of the Italian herbs. Use lemon or lime juice instead of the vinegar in the Italian version.Good luck :->!! Let us know how it turns out and post your recipe when you come up with a copycat version.

Creamy Italian Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. chill several hours to blend flavors.
