Recipe: Cucumber Coleslaw

Hi Ramona;
I found this recipe on the internet, it does not list tomatoes as an ingredient but it sounds like you could add them. The last ingredient listed is salad dressing and I'm not sure what kind they are talking about. My guess is that they are referring to Miracle Whip Salad Dressing, since that or mayonnaise is what is usually put on coleslaw.
Cucumber Coleslaw

4 cups shredded cabbage
2 cups peeled, diced cucumbers
1 medium onion, sliced very thin and soaked in vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
1/2 cup salad dressing

Combine cabbage and cucumbers; add onion slices and toss. Sprinkle the sugar and salt over mixture. Add celery seed and tarragon vinegar and mix well. Add salad dressing just before serving and mix well.
