Death By Chocolate

2 large packages instant chocolate pudding
1 baked chocolate layer cake
1 c. Kahlua or Creme de Cocoa
2 8oz. tubs of whipped topping, thawed
mini chocolate chips

Bake chocolate cake in two layers as per directions on box. Pour 1/2 cup of Kahlua or Creme de. Cocoa on each cake layer; let it soak for a few minutes. Break 1 chocolate layer into large bowl. Make one box of pudding and pour over cake. Let set for a few minutes until firm. Spred 1 tub of whipped topping over pudding, sprinkle with mini chocoate chips. Repeat these layers. Chill. You may leave out the alcohol if you wish. No substitutions are necessary.
