Recipe(tried): Dinner

I've catered many rehersal dinners, most seem to prefer a buffet type with make
your own sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, sometimes a hot dish or two (baked
beans and scalloped potatoes are usually ordered), that type of thing, picnic
fare actually. It would be easy on you, just put the hot food in roaster ovens
or crock pots, everything else is cold and it all can be done ahead. I've done
some with hot meats and mashed potatoes, but there's lots of last minute hassle
with that many hot dishes. Cookies and ice cream is a good do ahead dessert,
messy to eat but fun!
