Recipe(tried): Draining Fat - I'm not so inventive

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
I'm not so inventive
Since I usually have dirty dishes around I pick a bowl and drain the burger in it then as it gets harder I scrap into lined trash can -- somtimes opening a box or aiming at a n open can ....
I use my yellow tupperware strainer to drain in it has a small bottom the fits easly over a bowl -- and seems to stand up to the heat of the fat -- a metal strainer of course would be better
I too have poured hot water over the beef and it does not affect the taste ...
I'll have to be more creative with this process -
good question Candace
somthing I do too now is put some water in when browning my beef (to cover it)it helps reduse the fat that says in the beef and again no affect in taste.
